Bob’s extensive experience in structural engineering – more than 40 years includes engineering management, quality control, and project design. His resume includes civil and structural design and engineer of record for various roadway and bridge projects for District 2, District 3, and District 5 for the Florida Department of Transportation, along with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville and Savannah Districts of the Corps of Engineers, and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. He has also worked on condominiums, schools, post offices, drainage projects, bridge beams, piers and waterfront projects.
A technical writer and project manager in the engineering and environmental industry, Missi Shumer specializes in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation in accordance with Federal, state, and local regulations. She is the principal author and/or manager of more than 40 approved NEPA documents for transportation projects, ranging from simple Categorical Exclusions to complex Environmental Impact Statements. She has worked for Departments of Transportation in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
David Shumer has extensive experience in working with local and state agencies to obtain approvals and permits for new development, as well as renovation projects. His nearly 20 years of civil engineering experience includes drainage, civil/site design, roadway design, airport runway design, subdivision development, natural disaster assessment, and traffic studies. David has worked with a wide variety of clients, including architects, landscape architects, engineers, private developers, and public entities.
